Hope Community Church partners with and supports various organizations locally and around the world.
Here are some of the things we're involved in.
HOUSE OF HOPE
House of Hope Kansas City is a Christian-based nonprofit organization in the KC metro. Our mission is to be a guide in the healing process for teens, while also helping to pave the way in restoration of their family relationships. We offer both an affordable residential program of healing for teen girls, ages 13-17, as well as a Family Counseling Center for teen girls and boys and their families. We have a larger service day with this ministry in November and we financially partner with them. Read on their website for more information about ways to be involved with this ministry.
hillcrest transitional housing
Hillcrest solves homelessness by helping people reclaim their life situations and regain their self-sufficiency. Hillcrest graduates leave the program with the tools needed to maintain their independence and success. Last summer we prepared Birthday Party kits for this ministry and will be taking steps to partner with them in other ways. FREEDOM HOOPS
Freedom Hoops' mission is to cultivate disciples...on the court and one-on-one. They live the hope of the gospel alongside basketball and mentoring. Several of our members are invested in this ministry and this ministry is led by our member, Michael Loney. We also financially partner with them to support their work. THE SINGLE MOM KC
The Single Mom KC calls single moms to join in community by providing resources and equipping their family to be restored into a better story. We are partnering with this ministry to help them with their Christmas celebration in December and we financially partner with them. International Missions
We partner with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention to support missionaries around the world. We also encourage our members to adopt a missionary family to pray for and support individually. In addition, we also encourage and support members to pursue mission work be it short term or as a career.
North American Missions
We support the North American Mission Board for the spread of the Gospel and Church Planting. Each year we also take a church mission trip to assist a Church Revitalization effort in North America.
