Conditions for a Wedding at Leawood Baptist Church for Non-Church Members
· The wedding is to be officiated by a Minister from Leawood Baptist
Church. Guest ministers may be allowed to lead portions of the wedding service
only with express permission from the Officiating Minister from Leawood Baptist
Church. Some rare exceptions are allowed for this condition at the discretion
of the Senior Pastor.
· The wedding couple must meet with the Officiating Minister for pre-marital counseling and with the Wedding Coordinator for wedding service planning.
· The wedding couple must agree to the policies and fees established by Leawood Baptist Church.
· Only the Officiating Minister can secure the wedding date and the use of the church facility and resources (see fee schedule below).
· The church cannot accommodate a Wedding Reception in its facilities for non-church members.

FEES AND DEPOSIT
Sanctuary Wedding: A deposit of $500.00 will be collected at the time the wedding date and building
usage is confirmed with the Pastor. $150.00 of the deposit will be returned after the
wedding, if the church's wedding policies have been followed (i.e. no smoking
in the building, no alcoholic beverages on the premises). The remaining $350 is kept by the church to cover the cost of building use. Note: The Pastor
can refuse to perform the service if the church policies are being violated.
All of the deposit will be returned if the wedding is canceled no later than
two weeks prior to the scheduled date.
Parlor or Hearth Room Wedding: $150 is the charge for the use of the Parlor or Hearth Room for a small wedding. No deposit is required for this usage.

Most musicians have a set fee. The above minimum is suggested
for someone who does not have a set fee.
Note: Checks should be made out to the individuals (Pastor, Wedding Coordinator, Custodian, Technician, etc.) and given to the Wedding Coordinator to distribute on the night of the Rehearsal.
CHURCH MEMBERS
LBC members are not charged for the use of the church building and do not
pay a deposit fee. Lower charges for personnel are also offered to church members.
