Greeters and Ushers are the lynchpins to ensuring that everyone's Sunday Worship experience is the best it can be!
Greeters are the first persons one sees when entering the church; they convey the love of Christ to everyone they meet. The Greeters are assigned and managed by the Deacon Evangelism and Outreach Committee, an arm of our Deacon Ministry. In addition to welcoming everyone to Worship, Greeters are responsible for assisting folks who are unfamiliar with locations of classrooms and/or the nursery. They also provide Visitor Packets to our guests. To see the latest Greeters schedule, click here.
Ushers are volunteers from the congregation who, led by an Usher Coordinator, provide worshippers with the weekly bulletin before entering the Sanctuary, as well as have the responsibility of monitoring the outside doors and interior hallways in order to provide a safe, quiet environment for Worship. Additionally one Usher each week provides an Offertory Prayer during Worship. If you would like to volunteer to be an Usher, please contact David Wildman. For an up-to-date Usher schedule, click here.
