Do you suspect or know someone who is being abused and feel helpless to do anything about it? The good news is that you can learn how to safely intervene and perhaps save someone's life by attending the "Conference on Guiding Families to Safety". Our own Susan Fox (pictured), director of HALT Family Abuse and author of Intimate Terrorist, will host this event, which will teach the audience to recognize child, elder, teen dating violence and domestic violence - and how to safely take action to free victims from the abuse and violence. Contact the church office to register.

Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014, immediately following Worship

All Deacons and Deacons Emeritus are invited to attend the monthly gathering in the downstairs Hearth Room to discuss our ongoing efforts within our church.
