Young Adult Leadership
If you would like to be involved in any of the following areas of our Young Adult Ministry, these are the people to contact. There are also a few open offices, so contact Michelle Patton if you would like to volunteer.

Directors: Jeff Cook
Primarily responsible for seeing that each of the leadership positions is functioning effectively, selecting curriculum with the teacher, and coordinating leadership meetings. The director(s) should be sensitive to assessing the discipleship growth of the group and suggesting adjustments as necessary.

Teachers: Brenda McKinney and Ken Simpson
Collaborates with the director during curriculum selection. Prepares lessons which provide opportunities for individuals to think critically and share ideas. Attends teacher education workships as provided by the Adult Discipleship Council.

Substitute Teacher:
Prepares and facilitates Bibe study when the teacher is absent. Attends teacher educatioin workshops.

Social Activities Leader: Melissa Overton
Schedules regularly planned activities that provide for social, leisure, and recreational interactions. Examples include: board game parties, class cookouts, trips (skiing, etc.), movies, shows, etc.

Out-reach Leader: Michelle Patton
Facilitates outreach to others not in the group through registration of visitors, sending invitations/cards, and conducting follow-up contact with visitors/new members.

In-reach Leader:
Provides care for and facilitates consideration of the members of the group. Communicates special needs and coordinates special projects among group members. Examples include: gift bags, meals, cards, etc. Responsible for completing the class attendance record book.

Missions Activities Leader: Adrian Rossi
Coordinates and promotes regularly planned mission projects and opportunities. Should plan 3 or 4 projects/activities per year.
